For sale here is a Pezon et Michel Parabolic Speciale Competition 8 1/2 foot bamboo fly rod for a 7 weight line
9 ounces though that includes the backing currently left on this reel
The reel is set up for LHW and remains in mint condition
The overall rod is lightly flamed
The rod features Bakelite impregnated cane with transparent caramel colored wraps and bright guides
a #12 Royal Coachman
Comes with a spare ventilated spool and a non-original Orvis pouch
The cork is only mildly soiled
There are a couple of small casting flaws (as commonly seen with early alloys) in the frame and a small flea-bite on the foot – possibly due to a casting flaw as well
