Thomas & Thomas Classic Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #5A nice Thomas and Thomas Classic bamboo fly rod, 7', 2 piece, 2 tips, and built for a #5 line. Serial #3388. Weighs 3. 2 ounces. Mint condition. Medium fast DF action. Dark wheatstraw color cane done in a three up node pattern with the rod shafts done in the superb T&T varnish. The main wraps are apricot with maroon edges and brown at the ferrules. The swiss ferrules have no collar on the males and are oxidized. The female has the tiny T&T logo stamp.
6" grip shaped to medium cigar
Dark grey felt in the brass top
and nameplate are sliver
Large arbor design with lots of porting to reduce weight
yet far from weak
Mint condition with box
