Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 3 3/8"A nice Hardy Perfect trout reel, 3 3 8" and set up for RHW. Later enamel model this reel is in excellent lightly used condition bordering on near mint, with minor cosmetic touches here and there (a small patch of enamel has rubbed off in one area on the spool). Unblemished agate lineguard. Smooth alloy foot with an ebonite handle. The tensioner works great and the reel is smooth and tight mechanically. The reel comes in a circular navy and cream hardy

The grip is a slim cigar with standard swiss ferrules and the rod has my "may rose" wraps

For sale here is a Hardy Palakona cane fly rod made in November 1974

but 5 to 6 is probably the sweet spot

The butt has an amber varnish overcoat rendering it darker than the tips

Also comes with the original key
