Hardy Duchess Fly Reel

Hardy Duchess Fly ReelA contemporary Hardy Duchess fly reel, 3" diameter and currently set up for LHW. A line has been loaded on the reel but I could find no sign that it has actually been fished. Medium arbor design with a gray finish. Dual nickel silver line guards. Wood handle. The reel packs into the original neoprene Hardy pouch and box with paperwork.

With the exception of this minor reinforcement to one tip

Clear silk wraps with brown edges and medium brown wraps at the ferrules and winding check

These reels were made in the late 1980s by Angling Products Inc

perhaps as far back as the late 50s

Set up for right hand retrieve

Comes with replacement bag and original brass-capped tube

The silk wraps are apricot/gold colored
