Originally a drab bone color, this dress had stains that could not be completely removed after treatment and washing, so, after removing the delicate lace collar, she was dyed this lovely, soft golden yellow hue. The collar needed reinforcement, so antique cotton bobbinet fabric was procured, dyed down to more closely match the lace collar, and then the
