Saracione Deluxe Fly Reel 2 3/4" LHWA fantastic Saracione Deluxe fly reel 2 3 4" in diameter. Mint and unused. Left hand wind. Serial #261. This reel is beautiful work from the absolute best of our modern reel makers and is from his first run of Deluxe trout reels. If you are a fan of Joe's work (as I am) then you'll love this little reel classically inspired but with modern precison. The reel has been loaded with backing but no line is on it. It comes in an Arnie Mason leather case

Rubber button on the butt is mounted on a ferrule and pulls out to accommodate a fighting butt which is provided with the rod

The pewter oxidation at the ferrules has no sign of any wear
This taper was initially developed as a variant of one of my salmon rods
The grip is a short 7-cork slim cigar
Good all original condition with some micro alligatoring and small varnish chips
No longer in production this reel was part of a limited run of 200 produced by this famed duo
there is no sign of use on this rod and the varnish is perfect
