Seamaster Mark II Reel

Seamaster Mark II ReelA scarce Seamaster Mark II direct drive fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. One piece frame construction. The pillar length is 1 1 8". The reel weighs 8. 5 ounces. Near mint condition with just a few tiny spots of wear on the frame edge in one spot (you can scarcely see them and likely wouldn't without the black anodizing) and I can find no other real meaningful signs of use. The Super-Z brand ferrules have an excellent fit

and built for a #8 line

This doesn't of course detract from this being a fabulous fishing reel

Wrapped in brown with yellow tipping (as noted the re-wrapped butt and new tip is done in a darker

Both tips have been cast as there is a minute amount of brassing to the inner reverse twist bronze guides

Packed in a modern aluminum tube

I believe this rod was made as a one-of-a-kind

The nodes are hand pressed to a very small size

This is balanced nicely with the thin sensitive tips that allow for finesse and tippet protection

No wobble or other issues

Swiss style ferrules have a collar at the males and are oxidized  with the T&T logo stamped on them
