Description
Abel #3N Fly ReelAn Abel No. 3N fly reel, 3 3 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Light gold anodized frame and spool with a black drag adjuster and foot. Good used condition with some moderate rim rash on the frame edges but the reel is fine mechanically and ready for plenty more action. Serial "7099" stamped on the side of the foot. The cork drag is smooth and strong. The reel is loaded with a line and weighs 10. 7 ounces. The reel packs into a teal Abel cordura pouch.
Serial #4389 with a manufacture date of June
Reel and spare spool come in original velvet pouches with the Winston logo embroidered on them
The rod is lettered "M Canfield Spring Creek Guide" on the wrap flat
The reel has its full length original foot with a little bend on one corner
a 3x3 node pattern
Rod is designed to be joined by a taped splice rather than with ferrules
