Walt Carpenter Browntone Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5A superb Walt Carpenter "Browntone" bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #88576. Weighs 3. 9 ounces. Mint, untouched condition with the paper and gummed strips still on the grip. Built in 1988 in Chester, NY, this is a real "wow" rod and a pleasure for me to describe something this nice. Medium action. Flamed medium brown cane done in a three up node pattern with a superb varnish coat. Brown main wraps with black edges
