Bogdan 150 Fly ReelA superb Bogdan model 150 salmon reel, set up for RHW. 3 1 2" diameter with a 1 3 8" spool width. Good condition bordering on excellent, with some minor wear to the frame edge in one place and a few minor traces of wear on the plates. The drag adjuster handle also shows the first sign of brassing. None of the wear is particularly glaring however. The reel has been used but well cared for. The wraps are dark brown with no edges

The 7" long medium cigar grip is evenly tanned along its full length suggesting natural oxidation rather than hand soiling

For sale here is a disc drag anti-reverse salmon fly reel made for Orvis in the 1970s

The catalog features their entire line of sporting goods with the exception of fishing tackle

The line on the reel in the photos has been removed

and a special supplement regarding the Winston Fly Line

and though it shows some wear it retains much of the original finish

with a wonderful medium-fast dry-fly action

and coated tube with good brass fittings
