Often fruit comes into my kitchen in one way or another and I can't help but notice the beautiful, and sensual textures and shapes, I notice the gestures they make and the ways they change as they age I am drawn to them. This is truly the only way still life photography works for me

Over the years I have often turned to the genre of still life when I am wanting to make work and be alone with my thoughts

I printed an edition of 10 numbered prints and 3 A/P prints

I printed an edition of 4 numbered prints and  2 A/P prints

5 x 20 sheet

and calling to me while I set up my 8x10 camera and made this picture

These pears were brought home by my kids after having visited a farm belonging to a family friend
