Lot 220 - Vintage World War II Era U.S. Army Sweetheart Pillowcase From Fort George G. Meade, Maryland, With Eagle, Rose, And "Just Hello!" Verse, 21" x 21"Vintage U. S. Army sweetheart pillowcase from Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. The white satin pillowcase is printed with "U. S. Army" in red lettering at top, a spread winged eagle in blue at center, and two red roses flanking a verse reading "Just Hello! I'd like to be with you and hear about the folks, I'd like to see you smile at the same old jokes, but since you are so far away I can not hope to go, I'll send this little token just to say Hello!"

Binding remains intact though loosened
