Lot 027 - Antique Primitive Wooden Butter Mold Dated 1806, Initialed "J.S Jr," 8-1/4" LAntique primitive wooden butter mold with a rectangular trough body and a shaped projecting handle. The handle is carved with the initials "J. S Jr" and the date 1806 is carved into the underside of the body in cursive script. The wood shows a warm aged patina throughout, with scattered insect holes visible on the base and handle end, along with general surface scratching, scuffing, and minor wood loss at the corners and edges.
