Description
JW Young Purist II 2051 Centerpin Reel 4 1/2”A JW Young Purist II 2051 centerpin reel, 4 1 2" diameter with a 7 8" spool width. It has a line loaded on it but appears unfished. Bronze anodized throughout with a gold anodized foot. The reel maker and model is laser engraved on the backplate along with the on off drag lever switch. The reel boasts a removable lineguard. It packs into a felt lined box with paperwork.
The interior spool width is approximately 1 1/4" and it weighs approximately 14
With the exception of this minor reinforcement to one tip

The ring and pocket cap are nickel silver and the Winston logo is engraved on the bottom of the pocket cap
The ferrule fit is very good and the oxidation retains about 95% of the original
The grip is a 6" western style that has some signs of cleaning and it has a hidden pocket cap in the heel of the grip
