Max Yerxa Bamboo Fly Rod 8'6" 2/2 #5A nice Max Yerxa bamboo fly rod, 8'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 line. No serial number. It weighs 4. 3 ounces. Used but very good condition with no casting cracks to the ferrule wraps. It has some grip soiling but no other issues. The action is medium, semi parabolic. Light wheatstraw color cane with two opposed node pattern. Agate stripper and chrome snakes. The main wraps are a mustard with a black edge at the keeper only. The original

The same applies the the bronzing effect by the handle and center tab on the winding plate

Capacity is WF3+50 yds backing

but was stolen en route

It's wrapped light brown with medium brown edges

The smooth alloy foot has been very slightly trimmed
