Everett Garrison Model 212-E Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #6A superb Everett Garrison Model 212 E bamboo fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 2 tips, and built for what feels to me like a #6. M 8 1 serial number inked on the butt along with "1969", the manufacture date. Excellent plus original condition, with a bit of mild hand soiling to the grip but there are no ferrule wrap cracks and very little brassing to the inner guides. There is one tiny chip in the varnish below the second guide from the tip top on one tip, though

The Winston logo is stamped on the seat bottom cap

For sale here is an old leather rod tube

The highly-buffed ebonite sideplates show some very faint surface scratches but only under extreme lighting conditions

The reel comes with a very nice Arne Mason leather reel case

I suspect this model was one of the later leaded finish ones before Hardy transitioned to enamel

The tube is a heavy octagonal aluminum with a hammer-tone finish also in a plum color

It measures 5" x 5" x 1 1/8"
