Sam Carlson Fly Rod 8' 3/2 #5 QuadAn excellent 8' Sam Carlson "Four" 3 piece, 2 tip rod built for a 5 weight line. "Carlson" is elegantly lettered on the butt section and the rod is wrapped in a handsome green with a keeper and three windaways on the butt section. The grip has been done in a standard cigar, and the reel seat is set up with a downlocking screw lock over a walnut spacer. This rod has been very lightly used with some minimal brassing on the ferrules and slight cracking

The slide band ring is done with the tiny convex scallops leading to the fine coin knurl edges
