Medium to slow action. Pentagonal construction with darkly flamed shafts and light nodes. Fiberglass ferrules. Nice thin coat of varnish, and while there is a small hook chip in the varnish between the grip and the stripping guide, it does not appear to have penetrated into the bamboo. The main wraps are a light amber

The winding check features a double spiral pattern in the same thread color

Reel and spare spool come in original velvet pouches with the Winston logo embroidered on them

Fair condition cosmetically and good condition mechanically

The reel seat is made up of a lovely burl walnut spacer under a cap and ring

with a delicate and precise medium action
