Payne (Sisters, OR) Model 96 Bamboo Fly Rod 6'6" 2/2 #4A Sisters Oregon vintage Payne model 96 bamboo fly rod, 6'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built with a #4 line. The rod weighs 2. 7 on my scale. Fast action. Lightly used condition with some cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps and some grip soiling. The rod is a bit of a departure from the earlier Payne version of this model in some respects: the temper color is a few shades lighter than the original, and the nodes are done in a three up pattern
