Swan Label CoatThis coat is inspired by a quilt made of woven labels, circa 1950s. We made a historic replica of the original fabric and then modified it with the name and address of the Bode Tailor Shop. The coat is cut along a traditional workwear silhouette. The jacquard weave allows for complex designs to be woven into the fabric as it is made

We reproduced the black and white dot pattern along the hem

It features a faithful reproduction of the original motif reinterpreted as a knit with hand-embroidered details

The silhouette is that of a traditional trouser — high rise

which have a mid-rise and a straight leg silhouette

The quilt is embroidered with a feather stitch along the edges of each patch and flowers with a knotted center
