The rod weighs 6 ounces on my scale. The original owner's initials are inked several inches up the shaft from the maker, model, and rod information. Varnished model. The rod appears to have been lawn cast at most, as I could find no evidence of it having been fished. Powerful medium action. The rod is nice and straight and the ferrules

The reel seat is a lovely piece of walnut flatted and varnished smooth

the first year after the move from Brooklyn and bearing serial number C438

For sale here is a rare Tom Morgan Rodsmiths catalog from 1995 with mailing envelope

The rod includes the original bag with stiffening dowel and the original tube with brass fittings

The one issue is bag burn on the varnish throughout the rod
