Hardy Uniqua Fly Reel 2 5/8" [SALE PENDING]A nice Hardy Brothers Uniqua fly reel in a rare 2 5 8" size. RHW. Mid 1920's production. Duplicated Mark II check. This little Uniqua was the smallest size of this model that Hardy made, and it has a smooth brass foot and the early horseshoe latch. The brass foot has been filed pretty heavily at each end. Save for the foot filing and some normal loss of patina, the reel is in superb condition with no spool wobble, and no line burns, dents, or
pat off" and the reverse is stamped "Made for
All other wraps are in excellent condition
Very good condition only very lightly used
Grip exhibits soiling and the narrow cork rings are cut to a medium cigar shape
some mild mounting marks on the foot
and raised brass feet (not pictured)
Hard to find LHW
A 1930's or 1940's era rod judging by the pot belly ferrules
Another must-have classic for any angling library
Rod is in mint condition having only been lawn casted
4 1/4" diameter with a 1" spool width
