Fin-Nor No. 4 Direct Drive Fly ReelFor sale here is a #4 Fin Nor direct drive fly reel. 3 5 8" diameter. 1. 5" spool width. Left hand retrieve. Weighs 12. 85 oz. Will hold approximately 450 yards of 30 lb. backing plus a WF14 line. This reel has never been lined. Hard to find in this size and condition!
Per tells me he has made fewer than a half dozen of this model rod
The rod was refinished by Jim Schaaf in 1997 and remains in excellent+ condition
The ferrules don't appear to be Super-Z's which as you know were invented by Mr
8 feet in length

This rod weighs 4 oz
The nickel plated finish is in excellent condition
although he applied red tipping to the wraps instead of the original green as noted in the Thomas ledger
