RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #4/5A nice RL Winston bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for what feels to me like a #4 and perhaps a #5. A Montana era rod with serial number #2183 inked on the butt along with the original owner's name. The rod weighs 4 ounces on my scale (the blank weight is inked on the rod at 3. 5 ounces). Excellent, lightly used condition with only cosmetic issues that I could find (there is some moderate soiling to the grip and the reel seat hardware

Pentagonal construction with the nodes done in a two-opposed pattern and the cane is medium wheatstraw in color

The seat finishes with a thin band of Delrin and a longer turning of cocobolo wood and another Delrin cap for the bottom

The stripping guide is a golden agateen and the snake guides are reverse twist bronze

The rod is put up in a gray cloth bag and an aluminum tube with brass collar and aluminum top

Comes with original bag with stiffener

It weighs 8 3/8 oz

It is a 7'6" rod

The line capacity is a DT11F & 150 yds of 20#
