Industrial Laundry Case with Canvas Strap, Stenciled "Waltham Laundry Co Waltham, Mass.", Waltham, Massachusetts, 19-1/2" L x 10" W x 5-1/4" HThis vintage industrial laundry case was used by Waltham Laundry Co. of Waltham, Massachusetts. The case features a rectangular form with metal rivets at the corners and edges, secured with a canvas strap with metal buckle. The front surface is boldly stenciled in black lettering reading "WALTHAM LAUNDRY Co WALTHAM, MASS." in four lines. The case is constructed of a pliable plastic like material in an orange rust color. The painting is executed in oil on board and housed in a period wood frame with gilt liner
