The initials "TA" (Thomas Appleby) are stamped into the inside of the winding plate

These sets were produced from 1964 to 1968

The only fault I could find is a 1/2" gouge on the midsection 11" below the female ferrule

The original tip and the butt section appear to be totally original with no repairs
