Don Schroeder Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5A Don Schroeder bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #5 line. The rod weighs 3. 8 ounces on my scale. Serial #11095. Near mint condition. There are a few small chips to the butt cap oxidation which are the only real signs of use and these may be the product of shipping issues. The action is slightly to the faster side of medium. Excellent coat of varnish. The cane is flamed with lighter nodes. The main wraps are brown with black
The rod weighs 4 1/8 oz
Nicely crazed erinoid handle spins freely
The reel comes in a lovely walnut box
2 3/4" diameter and set up for RHW
The 814-3 is designed for fishing sized medium spring creek waters
