Bogdan Steelhead Reel

Bogdan Steelhead ReelA superb Bogdan steelhead reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Excellent lightly used condition with some minor rash on the frame edges, some small mounting marks on the foot, and few very tiny marks on the sideplates. No major issues that I could find. The reel weighs 5. 5 ounces on my scale. Ventilated black anodized sideplates. The frame and spool are anodized silver, as are the serpentine handle and counterbalance, and the bogdan nameplate

The other one is an eight foot Model GA80 from this time period as well

2 on the winding plate and foot and two dots on the cog

These Streamer rods are hard to find and wonderful fishing rods

one of which is in the American Museum of Fly Fishing

Dry tip has red spiral accent wraps at ferrule and tip-top

Transparent honey-colored wraps and black tipping
