Orvis Battenkill Nymph Bamboo Fly Rod 8' 2/2 #4An Orvis Battenkill Nymph bamboo fly rod, 8', 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #59941. The rod weighs 3. 9 ounces. Slower action than your usual Orvis. It flexes a lot in the butt. Used condition with cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. The grip has been cleaned with coarse sandpaper. This is one of the darker temper rods with a 3 up node pattern. The main wraps are brown with a carbide stripper and chrome snakes and tip tops.
