Aroner 7'6" 3/2 #4 DF Hunt PatternNew in on consignment is this superb 7'6" #4 3pc. 2 tip Hunt pattern with a "DF" action. Flawless spar varnish as though I just packed and shipped it from the shop. Dark walnut burl reel seat with only the barest hint of brassing to the cap, ring, and swiss ferrules. Rod is straight and tight. Wrapped in May Rose silk with orange edges. Keeper at the cork check wrap. This is an early style rod of mine before I stamped the butt cap with my logo. The
This rod would be excellent for small stream dry fly fishing
though it would also be an excellent rod for large trout and good sized water
The large (12 corks) 6" grip is deeply sculpted to a hand-fitting fish-tail shape
Lovely varnish and all the usual excellent Winston touches
Cap is stamped "Paul H Young co
They are the perfect compliment to a small water bamboo rod
