Winter Trees - photogravure print - Edition 2021Winter is my go time for landscape photography, I dig the bare trees and the way the sky looks in the winter. It is a bit ironic actually, as winter is my least favorite time to be outside. Having grown up in Arizona, I've spent the last 30 winters in Portland Oregon wearing long underwear from October to March.. This hand pulled photogravure print is made with Gamblin bone black and sepia ink, with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemhle

I passed it many times and finally one morning I went out early before the crowds and made some quiet views
