"Torso 2009" - Polymer photogravure print - Edition 2021As many of you may know I for many years I made photographs of the nude figure and printed the work in platinum metals. I work far less in this genre now and make few new negatives like these. I have been enjoying going back to the archive and selecting my favorite work to apply printmaking methods and looking at the work in a new medium. This hand pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Gamblin bone black and sepia ink, on Rives BFK paper. I

I had picked these flowers while walking to the studio one day

Henri IV ordered it to be constructed in 1578

I came across this one in my flat file the other day

Starting around 2005 I became interested in photographing landscapes

and Warm Red inks on Hahnemühle copperplate paper

I trust that for at least a short moment you were taken back in time upon viewing my picture

I made this negative 2 weeks ago in the backyard studio

with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Arches 88 paper

I found this dress in a thrift store and have used it many times in my work

or on the parking strip in my neighborhood where folks put things they are no longer using
