Payne Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2 #3An EF Payne bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for what feels like a #3 line. 2. 9 ounces on my scale. Lightly used condition with some grip soiling and cosmetic casting cracks to the female ferrule wrap. The rod action is delicate with a crisper butt and softer tips it feels like a great trico rod. The ferrules, reel seat, hardware, and ferrule plugs are correct for Payne, though I find the temper color a shade too light and the wraps

The ribbed brass foot is very short at approximately 2 1/2" and is shaped to a "canoe" profile and I suspect this was not the factory original and was added later

The stripping guide is an agate and the snake guides are black
