Hardy Perfect Fly Reel 3 1/8" with Two Spare SpoolsA nice Hardy Perfect trout reel with two spare spools, 3 1 8" and set up for RHW. Post war model this reel is in good lightly used condition with cosmetic wear throughout but no other meaningful issues. Unblemished agate lineguard and a smooth alloy foot with an ebonite handle. The tensioner works great and the reel is smooth and tight mechanically, though it could probably use a cleaning and re greasing to smoothen up the drag a tick. No bag or pouch.

The lifetime of the wraps has been extended with a very thin varnish coat to the wraps (this causes a dark band where the varnish penetrates the original orange shellac color preserver)

Used but good original condition

Two piece for a 4wt line

the page on which the flies are hooked provides pattern identification and size for each of the mostly unused flies

3 1/4" in diameter with a 1 5/32" spool width

with some nodes adjacent to each other

while the sideplates are black

I find it hard to believe this is a #6 line and suspect the bag may have been switched at some point in the past
