Peerless 1 1/2 Reel

Peerless 1 1/2 ReelA nice Peerless 1 1 2 model trout reel, 2 7 8" in diameter. Set up for RHW. The reel weighs 4. 8 ounces on my scale. Good used condition with some light rim rash on the frame in one area (along with a small scrape_ and some mounting marks on the foot, but pretty clean otherwise. Adjustable drag. Silver anodized frame with black anodized sideplates. The reel packs into an embossed leather Peerless pouch with the Peerless logo embossed on the top and

"210Y-4" is inked on the shaft

Numbers 9 and 10 were later made by John as favors but also included both Halstead and Gallas die stamps

The rods were made from start to finish by Glenn

and the ferrules are size 17/64

which would have come from Edwards' shop in CT that sold what were described in the Weber catalog as replacement "top sections
