Mint condition, never lined. These reels were all made in England and this particular one was made by I. W. Evans and is serial #0792 both the maker's initials and serial number are stamped on the inside of the frame. The reel features a 1903 style check and is silver anodized throughout with polished

Dark flamed cane with the nodes done in a two-opposed pattern

Minor rim rash exists as well as marks to the drag lever

the serial 091802 corresponds to September 18th

The taper of the cork is so slight that one might consider it a cigar-style grip

This grip has been shortened to nine corks as the hand is intended to curl under the overhang of the reel (what I call the southern PA style)
