Ron Kusse Black Troll Fly Rod 7’6″ 3/2 #5An excellent Ron Kusse Black Troll 76 3 piece, 2 tip fly rod. Serial #0153. This is a medium fast, 5 weight rod. Exhibits normal fishing use. There is some hand soiling of the grip, some light scratches and scuffing. Lovely varnish work, for which Ron is rightly recognized. Burgundy silk wraps with three Thomas style wind aways at keeper and male ferrules. Keeper ring 1 flat right. Tony hexed front cork check. Attractively styled cigar grip slopes

Cane is lightly flamed and nicely varnished

and wound with red wraps

Currently set up for LHW but easily convertible to RHW

All hardware for the rod and tube were handmade in my shop

Nickel silver uplocking screw lock with a lovely mortised walnut spacer
