Forks Stump - Polymer photogravure print - Edition 2021I am truly drawn to the chaos of nature, especially in the forest. I still strive to add some order, probably that is in my nature. I place my frame around some part, large or small, in an attempt to show the beauty and awe I feel. This hand pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Gamblin Portland Black ink, on Rives BFK paper. I decided on an edition of 10 numbered prints and 3 A P prints. I printed it small on a smaller than usual sheet out of my love for small objects

Drawn to the lines of trees swirling up the hillside this particular negative was my favorite from the day

I have struggled the last couple of years

I decided on a chine collé with Awagami Kitakata

and dated by the artist on the lower front
