Farlex Platewind Fly Reel 1-1 DD 3 3/4"A nice Farlex Platewind direct drive fly reel, 3 3 4" diameter and set up for RHW (though the bias is fairly neutral). Raised pillar design. Serial #080. There is one tiny mounting mark on the foot but I can find no sign that the reel has been fished. Silver anodized throughout. The reel weighs 10 ounces on my scale. Gear and pawl drag system with a nice loud click. Ebonite handle that's slightly flared at the end. The winding plate sports a brass

Very similar to a Para 15 but with a bit more cane in the butt section
