Peerless #2 ReelA nice Peerless model 2 fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for LHW. Good used condition, with moderate rim rash on the frame edges concentrated in the "resting spot" and some mounting marks to the foot, but pretty clean otherwise. Clear anodized frame and spool with black anodized sideplates. Classic S handle design. The spool and sideplate on the cranking side are ventilated. The reel weighs 5. 1 ounces on my scale. Designed for a #5 or #6 line

Oxidized ferrules with a microscopic amount of brassing on the ferrule welts

Lettered "Thomas four" opposite the guide flat and the serial # "643-4752" 3 flats right

The cosmetics of the rod and the spliced j work are very well-done on this rod
