Beach Sticks - photogravure print - The Weekly EditionI was walking on one of my favorite beaches on the Oregon coast making pictures with my 4x5 camera. I discovered this very cool sculpture of driftwood and stick that some unknown beach artist had created. It felt like a collaboration with a mystery. This hand pulled photogravure print is made with Charbonnel carbon black and raw sepia ink, with a dash of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Hahnemhle copperplate paper. I printed an edition of 10 numbered prints

This hand-pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Charbonnel bone black and warm sepia inks on Rives BFK paper

The war ended and she went on to use her skills to work as a registered nurse in hospital settings

I printed an edition of 8 numbered prints and  3 A/P prints
