Description
Hardy Uniqua Reel 3 1/8"A nice Hardy Uniqua fly reel, 3 1 8" in diameter and set up for RHW. The frame has the duplicated Mark II check stamp but inside the reel has a single check. 4 oz. 19 32" spool width. Very good condition, with some minor cosmetic wear here and there and a little bit of line grooving on one pillar, but very clean overall. The spool is nice and tight with no play whatsoever. Smooth alloy foot with "England" stamped on the underside, which I don't see
The shaft is lettered "L
and tip tops
Comes in a leather zipper pouch
The case can be used as a dust pocket by taking out the foam stored in the vise
Grey enamel coating with a grey agate in perfect condition
96" stamped into the oil plate
Good used condition with some moderate rim rash to the frame edges and a few small scratches to one sideplate
No significant end play or wobble
For sale here is a scarce Hardy Uniqua model - 2 7/8" diameter with the 1912 check
Made for a 5 weight line
Rod remains in excellent + condition
The only sign of use is some light wear to the inside of the guides
