Hardy Perfect Salmon Reel 3 1/4"A very nice Hardy Wide Drum Perfect fly reel, 3 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Earlier leaded finish model. Duplicated Mk II check. The reel has seen light use with cosmetic wear throughout but no major defects that I could find. The winding plate and spool surface have been polished. Overall the reel is in terrific shape. has size 12/64 ferrules and has a very nice medium fast dry fly action

This rod casts a DT5 with finesse

All original and in near mint condition throughout (one tiny nick on the frame)

The rod also has a non-original stripper

The rod packs into a tan cloth bag made from material I purchased at the Leonard auction

One of the tips is down 1/2" and also has a 2 1/2" long repair wrap between the last two guides

This reel was made for and still belongs to legendary fly fisherman

Varnish was soft so it was removed with alcohol and revarnished without removing the original wraps
