Darryl Whitehead Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 3/2 #4A Darryl Whitehead Presentation bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 3 piece, 2 tip and built for a #4. Serial #236. The rod weighs 3. 8 ounces. Medium action. Near mint condition, it looks to have been lawn cast with a hint of brassing to the inner guides, but that's about it. The fittings include engraved ferrules and hardware. The reel seat, check, and ferrule plugs are made of what appears to be cape buffalo dark colored horn. Flamed cane done in a three up node
Stamped Super-Z ferrules are size 15/64
and medium to large dries
